Esther Rosbrook, EdD

Director of the Africana Latin Asian Native American (ALANA) Cultural Center at Colgate University

Esther Rosbrook is a scholar-practitioner specializing in student and career development. She holds a Business degree from the University of Indonesia, a Master’s in Adult Education from SUNY Buffalo, a Master’s in Psychology from Colgate University, and a Doctorate in Organizational Development from Northeastern University.

As Director of the ALANA (Africana, Latin, Asian, Native American) Cultural Center at Colgate University, Esther leads nearly 100 initiatives each year that foster connection, diversity, and belonging across campus. A certified intergroup dialogue facilitator, she designs workshops and trainings that help students, faculty, staff, and community members navigate cultural differences, build collaborative relationships, and create connecting, inclusive environments.

For eight years, Rosbrook has been serving as MBA Program instructor at Champlain College, bringing her expertise in organizational development, leadership, and finance to graduate business education.

Her published works include Women Leaders Can Break Barriers in Student Affairs and Beyond, and, Fitting In: Empowering International Students Through the Appreciative Inquiry Framework.
