Courtney Reimer

Executive Producer, The Connection Effect Podcast

Courtney Reimer is an award-winning veteran of media titans such as Spotify, Amazon/Audible, Discovery, and MTV, and the founder of Sounds Great, a creative podcast strategy firm dedicated to helping organizations, creators, and changemakers use the power of audio to connect more deeply with their audiences.

A Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and University of Washington–trained journalist and communicator, Courtney brings curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to rigorous storytelling to every project she leads.

Over more than two decades, she has helped bring to life award-winning series such as the People’s Choice Award-winning Spotify Original, Archetypes with Meghan Markle, and has produced countless interviews, features, and narrative projects featuring voices from the likes of Deepak Chopra, Mel Robbins, Matthew McConaughey, Martha Stewart, Bill Clinton, and Stevie Nicks. Her work has spanned genres, formats, and subjects, from sound-rich narrative storytelling to thought-leadership podcasts and purpose-driven series that amplify ideas and spark conversations.

When she’s not shaping the next great podcast, you might find her cheering on her kids at their sports + performing arts events, out on a walk with her goofy-faced dog, Ruby Ruffles, or lighting up a local karaoke night with her off-key crowd pleasers that inevitably involve everyone eventually adding their voices to the mix.
