Founder, The Parenting Mentor
Susan G. Groner brings a rare and powerful combination of deep parenting expertise, positive-psychology–based practice, and real-world corporate experience to the Positive Connection Initiative Advisory Board.
As the founder of The Parenting Mentor, Sue has spent years helping parents raise confident, resilient children through approaches grounded in respect, care, emotional regulation, and meaningful connection. Her work emphasizes understanding children’s perspectives, emotions and cognitions, while translating that understanding into healthier, more effective communication and relationships.
Sue is the author of Parenting with Sanity and Joy: 101 Simple Strategies, host of The Parenting Mentor Sessions podcast, and a certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. She is the creator of the CLEARR™ Method, a practical parenting framework built on six essential pillars: Communication, Love, Empathy, Awareness, Rules, and Respect.
Beyond parenting, Sue brings valuable insight into corporate culture and organizational learning. A graduate of the Wharton School and a former advertising executive, she advises and delivers workshops for parenting and family employee resource groups (ERGs) at leading organizations including Google, Deloitte, and PwC. Her experience navigating this landscape makes her a key strategic partner as PCI continues to expand its corporate offerings.
Sue is also a frequent media contributor, appearing as a parenting expert on major television networks and contributing to national publications focused on family life, well-being, and modern parenting.
